1st PRESENTER: Jakob Höflich
Better understand and promote your music with AI tagging and search
One of the biggest challenges for artists and producers is to put their own creative work into words. However, this task is inevitable when marketing their music to DPSs such as Spotify or the press. Jakob, co-founder of Cyanite will present some practical use cases of how their tool can be used to extract creative metadata from music, write song bios, and support the pitching process to free up more time for creative work.
2nd PRESENTER: Dr. Amélie Anglade
Using AI in Music Tech: a freelancer’s perspective
Dr. Amélie Anglade has been a Machine Learning and Music Informatics specialist for 19 years, 9 of which as a freelancer/consultant. Her focus has primarily been on supporting startups building music applications that require AI for recommendation/search/playlisting/discovery, e-learning, music and health, rights management, etc.
In this talk she will share insights into her work, highlighting the benefits and specific challenges of a Machine Learning consultant in our industry, and how this has evolved over the past few years with the explosion of AI.
3rd PRESENTER: Albert Gruber
Real-time music recognition and fan activation for the music industry
Tracking and monitoring music which is played during a live performance has been a great challenge for the music industry. With the help of machine learning for Music Recognition Technology, seeqnc developed a tool that notifies artists, labels, and other stakeholders instantly every time their music is played during a live performance, a live-stream, or on social media. Eventually empowering creators to promote their music better, connect with their fans, and provide the data for fair remuneration and payouts of royalties as well as a protection of their rights. Albert, co-founder of seeqnc will explain the tools they have built to to contribute to a more transparent and rewarding live music environment.
