MusicTech Startup Safari

In the aftermath of Trondheim Calling, the association intensified the contact with NTNU Trondheim and organized a Startup Safari with students of the university. Prof. Andreas Bergland and his students visited a selection of music tech Startups in Berlin to learn from their journey.
We put together a 1-day program for 35 students with visits to Soundbrenner, The Venue Berlin, Groovecat, Melodrive and MOD Devices. The students were able to get insights into the work of the different companies and ask questions. The feedback on this Startup Safari was overwhelmingly good. It is planned to implement this format more often with (inter)national colleges and universities.
11.00 am: Visit Soundbrenner and quick introduction of MusicTech Germany
11.45 am – 12.15 pm: Travelling to The Venue Berlin
12.15 pm – 1.15 pm: Visit Groovecat and Meldorive
1.15 pm to 1.30 pm: Travelling to MOD Devices
1.30 pm to 2 pm: Visit MOD Devices
We assembled a diverse group of startups to give the NTNU students a bit of a broader overview from different music-tech entrepreneurs. The startups gave short presentations about their companies, showcased their products, and answered questions from the students.
It is safe to say that the students not only learned a lot but also had a really good time.
A big piece of paper, pinned to a wall with space for everyone to leave a note. No matter if you are looking for a project partner or want to offer your skills and services.
Weather you are interested in learning more about music, tools for artists, new technologies, music communities, entrepreneurship, or just hanging out with the local Berlin music tech community, this event is for you.
